In the Spring of 2023, Maggie and Joe found Love on Lakewood (yes, we know it’s corny, but the alliteration is too good to pass up).

Jersey-born Joe moved to Baltimore’s Lakewood Ave in July of 2022. Maggie moved in right next door just one month later. But alas, these cuties wouldn’t meet for months. Despite sharing a wall, these two lovebirds remained strangers for months. It wasn't until Maggie's 29th birthday bash (a classic Aries move) that they finally met. Around 11 PM, as the party was in full swing, Joe decided to pop out onto his back deck. Maggie spotted him (he has admitted to trying to hide from said party) and yelled at him to come join. So, he grabs a bottle of High West Whiskey from his home bar and joins the festivities.

About a week later, Maggie and Joe went on their first date to a skateboard themed pizza bar, and after their second date to see Adam Sandler do standup that weekend, they knew that this was something special.

Since Adam Sandler, these two lovebirds have been enjoying life in their rowhomes with their very talkative cat named Bunny, exploring Baltimore’s restaurants, making memories in Atlantic City, down the Shore, on Chincoteague Island and falling more and more in love everyday.

People tend to say it’s obvious how they feel about each other (maybe it’s the long list of pet names they use?) and they can’t wait to celebrate their obvious love with friends and family on Friday, March 28th, 2025.
